Nude in January there are a lot of articles about different diets and
weight loss methods in the media. Many have asked me about my diet and
maybe some day I will write about my food philosophy. Today I just
wanted to say one thing.. I believe that our body tells us what it
needs.
Maybe it sounds a bit strange to someone but for many years I have followed this advice and notice that it works. If you want to take care of your body, you have to listen to it. How does it feel? How can you be good to it today?
Of course it’s important to know about healthy food, nutrition,
training, resting and other wellness subjects but nowadays there is an
overdose amount of knowledge. There is no end to different kind of
advices and researches.
After I tried all kinds of different things, I gave up on all the
rules. In the end, I think our body is such a wise mechanism that it
knows the best. Firstly our body has to be clean enough (unprocessed
foods) to work in the right way and then you have to learn to trust it..
Yoga is excellent because it teaches you to listen to your body in
every way.
So I don’t have any strict diet, training program etc.. I choose
light yoga if my body feels tired, I eat when I’m hungry, I add protein
if I want to. Sometimes I need a green smoothie and sometimes a glass of
wine. For me wellbeing is not complicated anymore after I understood the being flexible is actually the key to balance.
